Job Description

Networking Strategic Marketing Manager will drive Intel PSG FPGA business and strategy in the networking market segment which includes both traditional equipment as well as the NFV (Network Function Virtualization) transformation. Your primary responsibilities will be to define/drive strategic initiatives, solutions road map, customer relationships, partner engagements, and investment opportunities for target networking applications. This is an excellent time to capitalize on the momentum created by Intel’s acquisition, and synergies for flexible FPGA offload of networking functions. This role will focus on positioning Intel PSG FPGA as the go-to solution for programmable logic in networking applications including switches, routers, networking appliances and emerging NFV Data Center applications.  This is a key hire for Intel PSG wireline division, and success in this role means contributing significant value to the company for both short and long term growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong presentation, speaking, and listening skills, as well as demonstrate effective teamwork across a large cross functional organization and global environment. Your specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Be the in-house expert on the networking infrastructure segment, including needs, requirements and the latest trends, such as NFV transformation, that impact Intel PSG technologies and roadmap
• Ensure highest visibility for Intel PSG technology in customer opportunities, driving design win and revenue growth
• Scope investment opportunities and identify both short term and long term ROI potential
• Identify and collaborate with third-party partners to define and create compelling technology demos, reference designs, and IP solutions
• Evangelize Intel PSG value propositions and solutions to customers, field sales and distribution partners
• Manage cross functional relationships within Intel PSG and other Intel divisions for strategic and solutions alignment
• Drive initiatives to influence silicon development and create IP solutions to position Intel PSG as a leader in target applications


• BSEE or BSCS or similar technical degree
• 5 years of experience in networking infrastructure with a combination of network system architecture, marketing and/or design
• System application experience with one, or more of the following: FPGA, ASIC, ASSP, CPU

• Experience with DPDK (Data Path Development Kit)
