As a NCG Design Engineer within Intel's Programmable Hardware Engineering (PHE) Tile design team, you will design, implement, and maintain RTL and verification testbenches for Protocol IP such as Ethernet, PCI-express. You will be part of a dynamic team that defines and develops the next generation products and enhance the hardware infrastructure of the engineering team to provide best-in-class usability and efficiency of the Transceiver Tile IP blocks. You will also work closely with the other Design team members to implement new features of the IP and verification environment to support the next generation protocol functions of these IPs. The NCG would use a mix of standard industry tool sets in conjunction with in-house tools with a focus on RTL quality, verification, hardware test and timing closure tasks.You should also enjoy working closely with RTL code, customers, and colleagues alike. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Must have a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 months experience with Hardware/RTL design and Timing analysis concepts
- Minimum of 3 months experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python and Tcl
- This job does require an existing background in electronics, programmable logic devices, or hardware (RTL) design.
