PDK Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description
The Foundry Design Kit (FDK) Infrastructure group within the Intel Custom Foundry organization is looking for qualified Design Automation (DA) candidates to develop and support the data management, UNIX environment and infrastructure used to build a Process Design Kit (PDK). Primary responsibilities will focus on aiding in the architecting and development of a robust system for managing PDK releases using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools/flows to ensure high-quality delivery of kit content to customers.Responsibilities will include: 1.Support the vast infrastructure (databases, web applications, servers, disk space, batch job capability, etc.) to enable rapid organization growth and enable our developers to achieve high quality results and optimal performance2.Co-development, testing, deploying and supporting Linux based repository/version control systems for FDK developmentSupporting internal web sites and applications to make data available to developers and to manage collateral development and resources


Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and will be considered as plus in identifying top candidates. Experience listed would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Required skills:1.Proficiency in procedural and function programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Tcl, and Scheme or Haskell2.Proficiency in writing SQL queries, designing schema and optimizing queries for performance3.Proficiency in managing Unix resources with shell scripting (bash preferred) and standard Unix tools4.Proficiency in using Source Code Management tools such as git, Fossil, subversion and Design Sync.
