This is an entry level position for various groups within Assembly/Test Technology Development (ATTD) department at Intel. A number of positions are available in Arizona and Oregon. Job scope varies depending on the final placement in specific group, and can include the following:
Performs research, design, and development of assembly or test process, equipment, tooling, software, library, fixture, hardware, module etc. Responsibilities include technology path-finding, architecture development, design material gathering, development of assembly/test process & equipment, conduct design review, design/test fixture, perform fixture acceptance, resolve design and implementation issues, meet production quality and reliability requirement, and updating fixture/equipment as needed through product life cycle. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.
