Job Description The following are 3 job scopes and you will be assigned to one of the job scopes if you apply to this position. Accounting (Shared Services Center)In this scope, you will be responsible for timely and quality preparation of account reconciliations, related close JVs and analyze business drivers to explain financial fluctuations. You will also be expected to comply with both US and local statutory requirements, and includes audit and tax compliance activities. You will also be responsible to help maintain the policies that govern the company's reporting process and ensure compliance with generally accepted reporting standards, and support processes for Global Accounting and Financial Services. You must demonstrate strong partnership skills, personal performance management and able to drive indicator/process improvements. Accounts Payable (Shared Services Center)In this scope, you are expected to ensure on time and accurate supplier payments and compliance with the relevant Intel guidelines and its process requirement. Be independent in resolving the problematic invoices, on time invoice processing in system prior to invoice due term, perform invoice & supplier banking information verification, payment review & authorization, duplicate payment research, backend audit in mitigating the risk of inaccurate payment; and ensure full compliance to SOX requirement, respective country statutory and regulatory requirement. You must demonstrate strong personal performance and stakeholder management in delivering flawless job 1 execution, problem solving to drive business results and able to drive operational efficiency. Business Finance Analyst (Intel Inside Program/Marketing Development Fund)In this scope, you will be responsible to perform audits to ensure compliance with the relevant Intel Marketing Program guidelines and its requirements which may be cyclical each quarter. This includes consistently utilizing and applying financial, business and risk management strategies, concepts, trend and information to develop variance explanations and solutions. Independently evaluate information and counsel in the areas of controls/risk management, budgeting and planning, and return on investment decisions. You are expected to provide financial recommendation that significantly influence the decision-making process and direction of varying levels of business leaders. You must demonstrate strong partnership skills with stakeholders to drive business results and participate in projects to enhance the overall operational efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills, business partnering and effective communication skills. The candidate must be able to deal with ambiguity, work independently and drive resolutions with people across different organizational levels. Related working experience preferred. Malaysian citizen who have the capacity to work in Intel Penang or/and Intel Kulim campus.
