Enterprise Malware Countermeasure Support Intern 2017
In this position, you will be part of the Virus Scan/Malware Product Specialist technical support team, who support enterprise level customers throughout the EMEA region. On a daily basis you will work with some of Intel Security's most valuable customers, assisting them in the use of Intel Security products and services to the highest levels. The role consists of both reactive issue resolution and pro-active communication. You will be working with our customers to help them protect their organisations against malware attacks. You will provide advice and recommendations in advance as well as assistance when their networks come under attack - helping the customer isolate malware samples and ensure that they escalated to our relevant research teams for urgent analysis. You will be on the front line, working with customers experiencing malware incidents, both large and small. This is an ideal opportunity for an undergraduate with a passion for security and malware defence technologies. You will have 13 months to learn and develop your own experience with the assistance of their expert coaching. Responsibilities include, but not be limited to: Supporting Virus Scan / Malware Team with Malware Escalations, including information requests and managing customer technical issues to resolution, maintaining proactive communication. Provide technical support for Intel Security Enterprise Support Customers. Working on Service Request / Support allocations, as well as internal improvement projects. Provide administrative support, including producing weekly reports for management. Log all activity associated with any service request in our CRM system so that a complete and thorough record is maintained for the customer and Company. Act as a point of contact between McAfee labs Enterprise Support. Liaising with internal global teams to identify and Implement beneficial opportunities. The role will suit enthusiastic and confident undergraduate with excellent communication skills, with a desire to learn new skills and work as part of a highly skilled support team.

Qualifications: This is a 13 month fixed-term placement suitable for students currently studying a degree course in relevant disciplines, and is targeted at 2nd year students enrolled in a 4 years bachelor's degree which includes a year in industry. Essential Skills Required: Customer focus. Ability to quickly learn about new products and technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Capable of working unsupervised by prioritizing work and focusing on meeting agreed objectives in required time-frame. Ability to integrate quickly with existing team so that maximum contribution to team goals can be achieved rapidly. Excellent analytical problem solving skills. Experience Required: Preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate previous experience in customer facing positions - Customer experience in any industry is relevant, part time or temporary customer facing roles all provide suitable experience.
