Senior Compliance Attorney

Job Description
We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a motivated, detailed, team oriented candidate to join the Ethics Legal Compliance Group, a part of the Legal Policy Group (LPG) in Intel Corporation. This position will report to the Director, Global Ethics Compliance Office with responsibility for conducting ethics and compliance due diligence relating to Intel mergers and acquisitions as well as developing plans, tracking completion, and developing dashboards regarding ethics and compliance integration in MA transactions. Key Responsibilities: -Conduct Ethics Compliance related pre-transaction due diligence in connection with Intel MA activity. -Develop, execute, and track completion of post-transaction ethics compliance integration plans in collaboration with other legal compliance program owners (e.g., anticorruption, antitrust, product regulatory, product safety, etc.), Human Resources, and other stakeholders. -Develop annual compliance plans of record and track post-transaction ethics compliance integration issues for Intel's separate subsidiaries to ensure Intel subsidiaries have and/or maintain a compliance program pursuant to the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines. -Drive Code of Conduct and ethics program integration at companies acquired by Intel -Drive ethics integration of individuals and/or small groups of employees who join Intel from other companies. -Ensure compliance with legal and compliance policies to minimize and limit corporate liability, manage risks consistent with the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines, and optimize the value of MA transactions from an ethics and compliance perspective. -Develop and manage ethics compliance trackers or dashboards and report the status of ethics compliance integration activities to the Director, Global Ethics Compliance, the Ethics Compliance Oversight Committee, and other stakeholders. Conduct periodic assessments of Intel's ethics compliance pre-transaction due diligence process and post-transaction integration procedures to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.


J.D. from an accredited law school. Meet local legal license requirements. Position will be subject to a position of trust background check. A minimum of 5 years practicing as an attorney, preferably in-house, with experience in implementing ethics compliance programs and pre-MA transaction due diligence. Candidates with anticorruption compliance experience is strongly preferred. Excellent relationship-building skills. Individual who is passionate about work in the area of ethics and compliance and has excellent judgment and an ability to prioritize risks. Team player with the ability to work well with internal colleagues, including attorneys and non-attorneys, outside legal advisors, and business clients cooperatively and efficiently with little ego. Have the ability to deliver engaging and effective training. Hard working, able to manage numerous challenging work assignments simultaneously under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment, and willing to work extended hours when necessary. Excellent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated maturity. Superior oral and written communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
