Job Description This job requisition is to facilitate an intern conversion The Test Program Manager (TPM) in the Datacenter Engineering Group (DEG) is responsible for coordinating and managing the HVM manufacturing test process deliverables for Si Enabling and Commercial NPI builds in support of PDT goals. TPM's are the interface between the internal test development team, BU PDT, Design Team, and the Production Sites for manufacturing test related issues. In this position, you will be a member of the DEG Execution and Operations (DEO) - Mfg Test Development Engineering team (TDE). You will be responsible for working closely with Si Enabling teams, new product development teams, test development engineers, out-sourced design centers, contract manufacturing sites, and strategic customers to ensure that new server board and system products are fully supported with manufacturing factory test solutions. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Coordinating the development and implementation of the manufacturing tests for a product and communicating the test plan to the project team, manufacturing site, test engineers, and strategic partners - Ensuring that designs are reviewed for testability, scheduling test software and hardware development and implementation to support the overall project schedule, negotiating interdependencies with project teams, driving out-source design centers to provide test software and fixtures solutions in the factory in time to support the product's introduction to volume manufacturing - Responsible for continuous improvement of test development processes, including cost reduction - Responsible for effective planning test development, and enhancing communication between test engineers, the product design team, out-sourced design centers, contract manufacturing sites, strategic OEM partners - Indirectly manage a Test PDT made up of Test Integrators, HW Engineers, SW developers, and Structural test engineers. Additional Job Description: Performs research, design, and development of test equipment software, library, program flow, fixture, hardware, probing, module and/or tester for main and/or peripheral printed boards assembly (PBA). Responsibilities include technology path-finding, architecture development, design material gathering, development of test strategy, device library, determining test parameters, specify test to be performed, conducting design review, designing test/fixture, performing fixture acceptance, debugging test/fixture, resolving design and implementation issues, performs testability and fault coverage analysis, meeting production quality and reliability requirement, and updating test/fixture as needed through product life cycle. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.
Minimum requirements: College Graduate with a Bachelor or a Master degree Additional Preferred Qualifications: - Very strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills - Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of project management skills in a product development environment - Needs to be able to effectively communicate and organize activities that span multiple organizations - Needs to be capable of working in an environment filled with ambiguity and working across geo's - Exceptional written/oral communication and presentation skills - An MBA is considered an added advantage - Able to assume responsibility and be proactive taking initiative to address issues, set direction and meet commitments - Can identify gaps and impacts, track parallel, often competing issues, set priorities drive timely resolution with balanced judgment - DFT (Design for Test) and/or DFM (design for Mfg) knowledge is an added advantage
