Full time intern on Cellular RF Performance Analysis and Validation (f/m)

Job Description

As an Intel Hardware Intern, you work directly with product design and development to devise the most superior hardware driving tomorrow's mobile devices. You will be immersed in every stage of radio frequency (RF) front end system engineering and verification. You will work with teams that own the important responsibility of ensuring high performing mobile devices meeting world standard bodies and operator requirements. Your tasks include: - Line-up analysis of mobile receiver frontend. - Uses and applies simulation tools and techniques to ensure performance to specification. - Operation of radio frequency test equipment. - Definition and development of system validation environment and test suites. - Development of new test methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.


We are looking for third and fourth-year University students who have a deep sense of analytical thinking, a willingness to learn and obtain exceptional time management and commitment to their work. Being familiar with RF electronics and scripting languages such as Matlab will assist you as you help with system lineup analysis and testing tasks, including running hardware tests, writing documentation and developing HW and system level analyses tools.Required Qualifications : - Master student with completed Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications or Radio Frequency Technology - Programming skills: Visual Basic for applications and Matlab. - Good communication skillsPreferred Qualifications : - Knowledge in the field of communication (WLAN, GSM, UMTS, LTE); - Hands-on experience with lab equipment control is an advantage
