Perceptual Computing HW Group is looking for experienced C/C++ RealTime Embedded software engineer with great knowledge in drivers and HW to join Firmware team of 3D Camera group. Successful candidate will become part of team developing Firmware for 3D camera SOC which is a heart of the Intel Real Sense(TM) 3D products. You will work in cooperation with other Software and Non Software teams in various domains such as ASIC, Optics, Electrical Engineering and Algorithms contributing to the definition, analysis and implementation of the new use cases to drive unique user experience for future devices.

Qualifications: Must have: * BSc in EE\CS (or related BS/MS degree in Computer field) from known university. * Minimum of 4 years of aggregate hands on embedded software\FW development experience with C/C++. * Proved experience SoCs and RTOS environment. * Proved experience in at least one of the following protocols: I2C\SPI\USB * Proved experience in SW Design activities, unit testing and multi-threading code experience. * A senior member of a highly successful development team with major architectural and programming contributions. * Able to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment * Great team player. * Strong results orientation Advantages * Experience with ThreadX OS. * Experience with TenSilica CPUs. * Experience with in development under Microsoft Windows OS. * Experience with imaging technologies and standards * Experience with agile development methodologies including Scrum
Perceptual Computing (PerC) is an organization within Intel tasked with the research, development, and productization of technologies for Natural User Interaction, encompassing both human to machine and human to human experiences. PerC aims to build technologies that would help users to have natural, immersive and intuitive interaction with computers through not only touch interface but also through hand gestures, voice and video. The objective of PerC is to explore consumer-focused hardware and software applications of close-range hand and finger gestures, speech recognition, face recognition and tracking, augmented reality and more.
