This position is for an industrial engineering role for Intel Kyrat Gat Strategic Planning Organization. The role involves developing factory layouts from conceptual stage through final tool installation on the Israel site. In this position, you will be responsible for planning plant, production facilities and equipment layouts, determining the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and establishing methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. The candidate will provide a link between Strategic Planning Organization, Construction, Tool Install Design and Install, Manufacturing and Process Engineering during all stages of layout development and will be responsible for driving approval of layouts through all stakeholders. As part of the layout development, the candidate will be responsible for optimizing the installation sequence and required timing, including supporting the analysis and recommendations for future use scenarios for the Strategic Planning Layout. The candidate will be expected to assist in the planning for equipment installation through design reviews and tool installation field activities and interacting with design, construction, Capacity groups during site build out to ensure alignment with plans and resolving any layout related field issues. In addition to layout development work, the candidate will also be expected to develop, follow and improve business standards within the organization and drive standardization across multiple sites in various geographies and participate in meetings with partners located in Ireland and the US which will involve out of standard hours work.This is a temporary position for a period of 11 months.

QualificationsThe position requires an Engineering degree or equivalent with experience in facility planning principles.. The candidate should possess- a knowledge of layout and capacity business processes. - a strong organisational, prioritisation, planning and time management skills. - an ability to effectively communicate ideas using written and verbal means at all levels of management and across diverse functional teams (manufacturing, finance, construction, install) while being able to apply active listening skills to deliver consistent results. - an ability to summarise significant information to concise executive summaries and recommendations (presentation skills). - A strong project management and negotiation skills in order to negotiate key deliverables or support between multiple organisations. - Constructive confrontational skills and a willingness to challenge others constructively. - An ability to work in an ever changing environment and performing within a team / culture which includes: excellent tolerance of ambiguity, setting expectations, driving accountability, possesses excellent teamwork, demonstrated leadership and team oriented.
