Supply Chain Technical Analyst Intern

Job Description
Come intern with Intel's Customer Fulfillment, Planning and Logistics Group (CPLG)! We are looking for a motivated summer intern for 2017!As a Supply Chain Technical Analyst Intern you will be responsible for, but is not limited to the following: • Conducting or participating in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers • Utilize mathematically based models (including statistical assessments and advanced analytics) to identify and drive solutions to supply chain problems including inventory strategies, distribution network design and forecasting • Design, develop, and test optimization models that will help identify and solve supply chain issues • Data mining representative supply chain relationships and translate them to projects and results • Utilize findings from analyses to develop, recommend and implement supply chain strategies that support the organizations strategic vision. • Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and formal software process.The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: • Problem solving and analytics skills • Ability to multitask and work in a changing environment, independently and within a team • Communication skills, initiative, and the ability to drive change independently through influencing • Customer service skills


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum Qualifications: • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other science/engineering related field • Must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship • Minimum of 12 months experience with MS Office suite • Minimum of 6 months experience with Lean principles
