Wireless Research Scientist

Job Description
You will be a member of a top design/research team in Intel Labs. This team is involved in exploring novel microarchitecture techniques and optimizing designs for high performance CPU cores. You will be exposed to the RTL-to-GDS end-to-end design flow, and expected to make substantial impact to Intel. This position is for candidates who want to hone their skill set in microarchitecture definition, simulator modeling, and timing or power analysis, etc. The ideal candidate will be:- Self-starter with strong teamwork and communication skills.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/ classes/ research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum qualifications:- MS/PhD in Computer Engineering/Science or closely related discipline- 1+ years Verilog language coding skills with experience modeling complex CPU cores.- 1+ years expertise in one or more CPU fields, such as branch prediction and memory prefetching.Preferred qualifications:- Proven record of innovations and publications in top academic conferences- Understanding of x86 ISA and compatibility requirements- Experience validating RTL in a professional environment- Some compiler software engineering experience
