Pre-Silicon Reliability Engineer

Job Description
Come intern with Intel's Corporate Quality Network (CQN) organization! Pre-Silicon Reliability Engineers are responsible for the design and development of electronic components.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: • Design of chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization • Documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout • Modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components • Perform developmental and/or test work • Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur • Design quality and reliability engineers designs-in • Execute pre-silicon modeling/correct-by-construction/simulation/verification tasksThe ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: • Problem solving


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum Qualifications: • Must possess a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field • Minimum of 6 months experience with device physics, VLSI, design flow, and/or circuit operations • Minimum of 6 months experience statistical data analysis • Minimum of 6 months experience with programming (ex: Perl, C, C++, …) Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge in design methodology (timing, noise, reliability) • Understanding of optimizing performance/reliability/Power tradeoffs
