Job Description: Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits. Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods. Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment. Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions. Tests, validates, modifies and re-designs circuits to guarantee component margin to specification. Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability. Analyzes early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities. Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints. Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.We are looking for an engineer to join the team to work in the highly challenging environment of product development. The Product Development Engineers in this team work on Wideband IO Analog Interface characterization and circuit debug by working closely with Design and Manufacturing teams. This position will be driving high volume manufacturing test content generation, enabling and bring-up. This team is responsible for ensuring that Wideband IO (WBIO) interfaces such as MIPI CSI, DSI, DPHY/CPHY, DDI/HDMI/DP/eDP, MGPHY DP and various GPIO interfaces(eMMC, USB2, SD etc..) are meeting the electrical parametric specifications before product qualification.

Candidate must have a strong background in Automated Test Equipment and Testing Methodologies. Skills required, but are not limited to, are understanding test concepts to be able to write and launch test simulations in RTL,system Verilog or Intel-based test writing language. Candidate should be able to do ATE-level debug and be able to use debug tools such as scopes and/or logic analyzers to complement test-based debug. Must have understanding of Test Manufacturing flow and be able to work with validation teams, yield, process and test program integrators to solve test issues. The candidate is expected to design experiments, do data analysis and be able to communicate with design, architects and other stake holders to help make product level decisions. Desired candidate qualifications also includes: - Solid background in ATE testing methodology. - Knowledge of IO protocols, specs, DFT architectures, and design (USB, MIPI DPHY/CPHY, UFS etc...) is highly desired. - Familiarity with end-to-end product manufacturing development process is required. - Proficient on Unix and Excel. Data mining and manipulation background (SQL) and JMP tools background is desired. - Strong programming/scripting background (Python, Perl, C++, Verilog) - Understanding of statistics and how to statistically present high volume data is required - Self-driven and strong team player - Makes initiative in working with or helping peers BS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science plus 5 years of relevant experience OR a MS Degree plus 2 years of experience.
