Job Description

Intel freeD is a dynamic and creative group with a start-up atmosphere within Intel, developing the future of video technology. freeD stands for Free Dimensional Video, and is an entirely new concept for capturing, processing and rendering video that allow users to immersively interact with real, live video. Our content is captured in the largest sport and entertainment venues in the world -Super Bowl, Soccer, NBA, etc. and is used today on television. We are recruiting Algorithm specialists in order to power the development of 2D and 3D image processing technologies. Responsibilities include literature search and application of articles; development and improvement of new and existing algorithms; working on cutting edge 3D technologies with field experts.


Required Skills: 7+ years of experienceB.Sc. of M.Sc. in engineering fieldVast experience in developing and implementing image processing algorithmsVast knowledge in graph theory ; Feature space ; Stochastic processes ; E-M algorithms ; Optimizations ; Defining and finding minima or maxima for energy functionsExperience in developing algorithms for parallel computingC / C++ knowledge Proven teamwork and resource management capability Desired Skills (Advantage):Image processing knowledge in 3D reconstruction, registration, segmentation and matting Knowledge in tracking algorithms / object recognition Understanding optics, photography and computer visionKnowledge in GPU usage: Cuda, OpenGL Knowledge in OpenCL
