Intel’s Connected Home Division is looking for a senior algorithms engineer to lead the development of next generation home gateways. Job responsibilities include system definition, architecture, algorithms development and performance analysis to deliver world class performance to gateway products. Candidate is also expect to be a leading contributor to global standardization bodies to create new opportunities for Intel and promote the industry. Inside this Business Group
- PhD EE (preferred) or MSc EE (minimum) with specific focus on communication and digital signal processing - Solid understanding of the following fields: digital communication systems, channel estimation and error correction at the PHY layer. - At least 15 years of Industry experience focusing on broadband communication systems, such as IEEE802.11, DOCSIS, MoCA, G.hn. - Proven experience in International standardization committees including active contribution - Track record of innovation and patent portfolio to create business differentiation - Ability to lead a team of algorithms engineers - Matlab and C/C++ expertise - Experience in working on ASIC systems - Ability to work closely and collaborate with system, design and SW teams. - Strong analytical and communication skills
