Field Security Architect (Public Sector)

About this position...

Job Description: Provides technology direction, solution creation and strategic program technical support to the company's sales staff and strategic customer accounts. The ideal candidate has the ability to merge technical capability with customer business problems.  May provide support in a pre-sales through post-sales capacity as it relates to complex programs, such as product capability assessment, installation considerations, preventative maintenance and upgrades. Provides, presents and interprets design, application and service information. Develops product specifications and applications usable by a specific customer and explores the business feasibility of general marketing and replication by other accounts. Serves as Federal ombudsman into Intel corporate product development, engineering and certifications orgs as it relates to federal govt –centric product and certs requirements (eg, FIPS, CAC) as well as government standards (eg, FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP). Serves as public speaking thought leader at selected industry forums and with executive customers. Research, solicit and evaluate potential partner solutions to integrate with Intel Security's products to form comprehensive customer solutions. Position will be on an MBO’d compensation plan to reflect longer term involvement on large scale and complex program cycles or solution based offerings.  

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of current cyber solutions, initiatives and imperatives for the Federal Government. Minimum of 5 years of working experience with US Federal Government on architecting solutions. Hands on and in depth technical working knowledge of complex security solutions including endpoint, network and cloud. Ability to present and speak to small and large audiences including executive level customers; excellent communication skills are critical. The ability to set up a lab with potential partner solutions integrated into Intel's products. Up to 25% travel required.
