Software Development Engineer C, C++

Job Description

Please note that this position is available in Poland and requires relocation to Gdansk.

Under Intel's Software and Services Group, you will have the opportunity to work as a Software Development Engineer in Gdansk, Poland collaborating with other engineers to develop Intel Compiler and run-time libraries. This is a highly technical role that requires you to use your academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science as well as possess understanding of the newest technologies associated with compilers and apply your experience of development with Windows and Linux Run-Time APIs. With C/C++ programming skills, you will have the opportunity to design and develop compilers and run-time libraries, analyze and debug the results of the tests as well as work with the other development teams to close whatever issues you found. Having X86 architecture and assembly development experience and possessing the knowledge of FORTRAN and C/C++ language standards will keep you one step ahead of the competition. You will have to possess a strong work ethic and be highly self-motivated. With your communication skills along with being fluent in written and spoken English, you will answer customer requests and develop solutions to the problems utilizing your formal education, superior judgment and formal software process.

Qualifications

Required:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science
- C/C++ knowledge
- Experience of development with Windows or Linux Run-Time APIs
- Fluent English
Desired:
- FORTRAN knowledge X86 architecture and assembly development experience
- Experience in UNIX programming environment (shell, make, etc.) Debugging (GDB)
