Logistics Analyst Intern

Job Description
This is a 2017 Intern position based in Penang, Malaysia. Intel's Malaysia Logistics team wants you to help us add value and continue transform the worldwide network that delivers the most innovative products on the planet! Logistics operations are primary element of Supply Chain business process and critical to our daily success. New capabilities are required for the organization to scale, control, and adapt to changing expectations from customers and partners. Logistics Analysts are the primary interface between operations, internal and external stakeholders to deliver these capabilities via operations processes improvements and systems solutions. This role responsibilities may include but are not limited to analyze logistics operations business processes and system functionality to design improved solutions with tangible business value AS-IS versus TO-BE processes. Able to work with internal and external stakeholders across multiple areas to support logistics operations assigned tasks, programs or projects. Must be disciplined, data driven and detail-oriented. Able to support the team to deliver solutions into operations environment and ensure the business value is achieved.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are not required, but will differentiate top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, classes, research, relevant previous jobs, or internships. Minimum Qualifications:- You must be enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Industrial/Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or IT/Computer Engineering at the time of the internship. You must have the unrestricted right to work in Malaysia without requiring sponsorship. Students entering their final year of University are preferred. Familiarity with Supply Chain including order management, planning, and/ or transportation operations. Ability to understand logistics or supply chain operation processes and system functionality to design improved business solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Organizational and project management skills with proven success in fast-paced projects. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work with cross-functional global teams.
