Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous job and/or research experiences. Minimum skills and qualifications: -Candidate must possess a minimum of a MS or BS in Computer Engineering, or other relevant degree. -Candidate must have 6+ months of work or educational experience with Intelc architecture. -Candidate must have 6+ months of educational experience in the following areas: FPGA, computer and processor architectures, OS fundamentals, OS internals, and OS-level APIs. -Candidate must have 6+ months experience with platform I/O or networking relevant to FPGAs or acceleration technology. -Candidate must have 6+ months experience with C/C++/ASM programming, data structures or algorithms. Additional Qualifications: -Strong knowledge and hands on experience in OS fundamentals, OS internals, OS-level APIs, kernel debugging, driver development, system level development / prototype. -Proficiency in core technologies such as IO driver stacks and virtualization is highly desired. -Proficiency in FPGA programming or use of FPGA based solutions for acceleration is highly desired. -Expertise resolving kernel and driver issues.
