Logistics Systems Analyst Intern
This is a 2017 Intern position based in Penang, Malaysia. Do you want to change the world...one shipment at a time? New capabilities are required for the organization to scale, control, and adapt to changing expectations from customers and partners. Business Analysts are the primary interface between operations, project managers, and IT to deliver these capabilities via systems solutions. The Systems Capabilities Team role begins with pre-exploration of business opportunities and extends through deployment of capabilities and hand-off to operations. Scope of systems includes Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Decision Support, and B2B, supporting all Logistics' processes from managing inbound shipments to our factory network through fulfillment of customer orders.Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Business Process Engineering - Analyze business processes and system functionality to design improved solutions with tangible business value As-Is vs To-Be Processes.Requirements Engineering - Lead stakeholders across multiple Business Units to a single set of priorities, requirements and tool design and be the single voice for that user community into a large program team.User-Centered Design - Translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity. Define user needs, task analysis, and the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows and use cases. Provide input to system design or make decisions for functionality and configuration.Testing - Disciplined and detail-oriented development of use cases, test cases, test scenarios, and/or prototypes. Plan and manage testing cycles to ensure the solutions will work before going live. Conduct User Acceptance Testing UAT.Transition Change Management TCM -Plan and implement a comprehensive transition change management plan for worldwide customers and stakeholders, including support for training materials and troubleshooting guides. Deployment and Stabilization - Deliver solutions into production and ensure the business value is achieved. Provide production support through stabilization and may support production escalations.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are not required, but will differentiate top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, classes, research, relevant previous jobs, or internships. Minimum Qualifications:- You must be enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Industrial/Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering at the time of the internship.- You must have the unrestricted right to work in Malaysia without requiring sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications: - Students entering their final year of University are preferred.- Familiarity with Supply Chain including order management, planning, and/ or logistics.- Ability to understand business processes and system functionality to design improved business solutions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Organizational and project management skills with proven success in fast-paced projects.- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work with cross-functional global teams
