Application Developer

Job Description

This position will be part of the college graduate rotation program within IT. Employees in the program rotate over 6-9 months through 1-2 different projects and/or IT services in order to gain breadth of experience and exposure across IT. Rotations would likely be in Cross Enterprise Systems IT group. The intent at the end of the rotation period is that the employee would take a permanent placement within the FIS.

Develops, implements, and maintains computer based systems to meet business requirements. Application Developers analyze, design, construct, train, and implement application systems. Activities include documenting decisions, adhering to standards and communicating with business groups. Other responsibilities may include providing standards/guidelines for development, responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur, and developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.


Qualifications

- Candidate must possess at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Good application development and troubleshooting skills.
- Any prior experience developing using C#, AngularJS, SAP ABAP, Python, SQL will have added advantage.
