Senior Payroll Analyst - GER (Greater European Region)

Job Description

The Senior Payroll Analyst is responsible for operations and quality management of McAfee’s GER – Greater European Region Payroll and related compliance with the other members of the regional team. This role will have a specific focus on India, but may have additional regional responsibilities, as well.  Distinct examples of this role’s responsibility include Managing Regular Payroll, Multiple Variable Pay programs, Foreign Assignment Payroll, Mergers and Acquisitions, Payroll Tax, Timekeeping, and Terminations.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end payroll production system operations management, including process error resolution/problem solving, table and configuration updates, and vendor management
  • Assist Regional/Global Payroll Program Office staff in delivering timely and accurate payroll payments to our employees
  • Drive and influence the successful integration of acquired employees
  • Lead payroll system testing for system updates, patches, upgrades, and the implementation of new functionality
  • Partner with IT, both for production management and system initiatives
  • Partner with all applicable HR, external business partners, and external organizations to influence, towards process excellence, payroll services design and delivery
  • Partner with other program offices in association with project management as needed
  • Conduct internal and external research and benchmarking on industry practices as needed
  • Business and data analysis to lead, influence and support management decision, solution recommendations, process improvements, and problem resolution
  • Lead and support process quality and optimization initiatives
  • Lead to drive Regional and Global Payroll systems related projects and initiatives
  • Lead and influence regarding business partner initiatives that impact payroll
  • Owing the mentorship, development, and training of payroll operations resources

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (business administration, human resources, finance or a related field) with 3 or more years of relevant experience preferred

  • Must be able to work effectively with external suppliers and government departments associated with Immigration
  • Demonstrated excellence in analytical skills, strategic thinking and business partnership
  • Proven self-starter who can independently manage deliverables while being a strong team player
  • Must be comfortable working in an ambiguous and fluid environment
  • A HR, Payroll, or Labor Affairs background would be a distinct advantage
