Our employees create a better tomorrow for all Intel employees around the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of the Industrial Waste Systems supporting the Factories.
Skills required should include the ability follow procedure, read schematics, question and "Stop the Job" if one does not understand the step.
Successful candidate will need to demonstrate ability to trouble shoot system issues and clearly articulate this methodology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate their ability to safely work in a team environment with an emphasis on procedural compliance, positive attitude and strong communication skills. Assignments are semi-routine in nature and work will be performed in defined parameters. Some degree of judgment is required in solving non-routine problems.
The candidate will be required to work a compressed day work week schedule. The schedule will consist of three twelve hour days in a row followed by a fourth day every other week.
In addition, the technician will assist with receipt, proper segregation, safe waste handling, proper packaging, and accurate shipping of both Hazardous Waste and Non Hazardous waste. This will require ensuring continuous compliance with federal Environmental Protection Agency EPA and US Department of Transportation DOT regulations while assisting EHS Environmental Health and Safety Waste Engineers with waste determinations, waste profile characterizations, and determination of DOT proper shipping name.

Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Possess a two-year technical Associated Degree.
- 2+ years of related facilities experience preferably in Industrial Waste Systems.
- Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Experience with current state and federal regulations pertaining to hazardous waste containment, removal and shipping requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiar with supervisory control and data acquisition systems.
- Must be able to work from maintenance schedules, blueprints, diagrams, procedures and other documented plans.
- Must be familiar with mechanical and plumbing codes.
- Have the ability to become Emergency Response Team ERT member.
- Demonstrated ability to function and interact in a fast-paced team environment is essential.
- Knowledge and previous experience with new equipment commissioning is highly desired.
- Possess a strong personal focus on safety for themselves and those around you.
