Technical Account Manager

Job Description

This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for managing and growing the business between Intel and assigned focus customers primarily in the Embedded/Industrial Vision market & Automotive Tier-2's by establishing and cultivating strategic relationships with them. Upon understanding customer's own business, align them with Intel's business direction and strategy, create and plan account development strategy, and line up internal resources and guide account team to maximize the business with assigned accounts over the short and long-term and increase the preference for Intel architectures among assigned customers. Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned annual billings and design win quotas in conjunction with the Field Applications Engineer, Marketing Development Manager MDM, Alliance Manager SRM etc through the alignment of business direction, strategy, product road-map, marketing program and tech standard.

Develop a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution and code of ethics.As TAM, you will be responsible for a defined set of focus accounts in Central Europe Germany, Austria, Switzerland. For these accounts, you will define and own measurable sales results and designs targets, working hand in hand with a local FAE colleague Field Application Engineer, the automotive BU US/EMEA and various stakeholders within the company.

You will report directly to the Automotive Sales Director EMEA, Munich based.


Qualifications

Engineering or bachelor degree with minimum 5 years of experience in a senior customer facing role in the semiconductor industry.
Strong, concise communicator with excellent presenter skills able to present to executive management of Intel and customer executive teams.
Strong team player, while also been a real sales leader/owner driving programs within the customers and within the Intel organizationWe seek an a real business owner who combines passion, energy with vision and strategic thinking while also been able to tactically drive several programs design wins to full closure.
The candidate must have -a good technical understanding of the automotive tier-2 and industrial/embedded vision requirements, landscape -a personal vision on the innovations taking place
