Job Description In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing of financial statements and reports including compliance process to ensure compliance to both US and local statutory compliance. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:- Maintaining the policies that govern the company's reporting process and ensuring compliance with generally accepted reporting standards - Overseeing accounting functions all general ledger accounting activities, systems, and controls. You will be required to work closely with key business partners such as Operations Finance, Corporate Tax and Corporate Accounting. You will be expected to add value & drive improvements to the process & be responsible for ensuring resolution of operational issues. Expectation will be to ensure requests from stakeholders are attended to timely. You will be responsible for certain tax compliance activities for Corp Tax, Indirect Tax and WHT including filling, computing & posting tax provision, payments etc. Should be able define Problems correctly and distill information into concise problem statements and identify root cause in individual or team setting & independently develop sustainable solution . Provide support in generating & review of Consolidate Financials of the Corporation. This is a lead position requiring the person to help resolve complex issues of the team & be able to provide expert opinion on complex A/C issues / positions.
Individual should have a Bachelor's degree / Professional certification in Accounting / Finance with 6- 7 years of related experience. Key competencies and relevant experience in regulatory compliance / financial accounting skills. Should have demonstrated strong business partnership skills with a passion to learn and engage with the business. Strong project / process management skills , ability to work independently to help business identify and solve issues, and effectively communicate across different levels of the organization including Cross functional and Cross Geo. Experience & knowledge in US GAAP, IFRS & local statutory filing and tax compliance activities will be an added advantage. Strong systems aptitude in MS office & ERP SAP environment. Knowledge on Consolidating Financials will be an added advantage.
