Production Project Manager

Job Description

This is a key leadership role in the FreeD Production organization responsible for all project scheduling, purchasing, needs and on time deliverables.

Responsibilities              

Creates and manages the Project schedule with the Project Manager

Updates Production plan with all site Project events and ensures correct level of staff support for all of Engineering and Operations.

Maintain and share game support information in a timely manner

Works closely with Department Production Manager monitoring & ensuring all site milestones are being reached, foreseeing and planning for any future issues as much as possible, and get from the DPM support on all scheduling, Engineering or Operations requirements

Ensure accurate and timely credentials available for all staff related to all sites and events.

Update on site status Daily production meeting, weekly priority meeting.

Coordinate and ensure tasks completion from all of the supporting departments and vendors in the project

Coordinate purchasing & shipment (with the Purchasing specialist) of the parts per the approved BOM, additional needs, RMAs and system shipping.

Manage the site inventory accuracy with on-site team.

In charge of tracking, logging and shipping – alerting on site email group & stadium receiving personnel.

Oversees and submits contractor to purchasing specialist invoices with necessary approval with PM.

Manage the Project Budget

Qualifications and experience

BS Degree or equivalent

Project management experience.

Experience leading in a heavily matrixed organization

Comfortable working in a fast changing, multitasking environment

Knowledgeable with MS office SWs.

Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated team leadership experience

Willing to work long hours, nights & weekends.

Preferred qualifications and experience

Background from broadcasting industry (production) – great advantage.

Passion for technology.

Passion for sport

Some technical/computer skills

Background from broadcasting industry – great advantage.
