Component Design Engineer

Job Description
Perform RTL2GDS or Netlist2GDS on blocks and/or fullchip for ASIC/SoC designs executed by Intel Custom Foundry. This design group is designing some of the critical SoCs using Intel foundry design kits. The key responsibility is to own and converge partitions and sections used in ASIC designs using Intel 14 nm and below processes.


Qualifications

B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Computer engineering and 3+ years of relevant physical design experience.Expertise in Physical Design Place and Route, CTS, STA, Formal Verification concepts, tools and flows using tools like Design-Compiler, IC-Compiler, Star-RCXT, PrimeTime, Conformal-LEC is required.Hands on experience in ASIC/SoC design, block or fullchip ownership is requiredExperience in 16nm and below will be plus. Knowledge on Physical Verification DRC, LVS, Density etc. and other sign-off flows will be a plus.Strong interpersonal skills, good verbal/written communication skills are required.
