Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites. Uses and applies emulation and platformlevel tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec. Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures. Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Presilicon Validation teams in improving postsilicon test content and providing feedback for future ondie debug features.Your responsibilities may include but not limited to: Understand feature requirements, architecture and boot flow design Lead system level integration, bring up, and debug of boot flows and IP in pre-silicon environments Firmware development, integration, and debug on HW and SW platform components like CPU, microcontrollers, BIOS, operating systems, etc. Generate customer releases, document results, communicate project status, and provide training Drive implementation of standardized processes and participate in continuous improvements of processes and supporting tools. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of system level related experience Proficiency in C or C++ and low level debug Skills in the software engineering development process and project life cycle Strong written and/or verbal communication skills in order to lead and manage projects Excellent team player, work well with others in cross-site organizations and multiplex your time between multiple diverse tasks and activities Preferred Requirements 5+ years' experience in software, firmware, or system level development Development and knowledge of UEFI, BIOS, firmware using Intel architecture Experience in debug in Linux, Android, and/or Windows environments Experience in low-level programming, system architecture, operating systems, or device architecture Detailed knowledge of IP or subsystem architecture Prior working experience on FPGA, Emulation, or Virtual Platform is a plus Proficiency in C or C++ and low level debug
