As an Intel Facilities Electrical Engineering Intern you will play a significant role in helping to develop the world's most revolutionary processors. You will join an elite group who work at our high-tech fabrication facilities worldwide, using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and tools. Our Facility Electrical Engineers make a big impact, delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions; effective collaboration with construction and operations teams. Provide facilities engineering leadership to the site organizations in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives with construction, maintenance of equipment, machinery, facilities systems, buildings, and structures. Good oral and written communication skills to work with all levels of management and diverse customer base with both technical and non-technical partners.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Skills (Must Have Skills): You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. The candidate must be pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science. The candidates must have the unrestricted right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have Skills): 3months experience in facilities management systems (SCADA). 3 months experience in Industrial Automation Platforms (including GEFanuc, Cimplicity). 3 months of experience in Rockwell Automation Logix PLC Products. 3 months experience in design and construction of facilities process systems or Instrumentation and Control Systems. Demonstrated application of sound engineering principles and technical problem solving.
