Job Description The Supply Chain Information Technology (IT) Source to Pay organization has a unique opportunity that will allow you to exercise your creativity and make a difference in the way Intel manages our inbound supply chain. Intel is embarking on a transformation of our sourcing, procurement, and accounts payable processes by embracing industry leading standards and technology. This position will be part of the college graduate rotation program within IT. Employees in the program rotate over 6-9 months through 1-2 different projects and/or IT services in order to gain breadth of experience and exposure across IT. Rotations would likely be in the Supply Chain IT or broader Cross Enterprise Systems IT group. The intent at the end of the rotation period is that the employee would take a permanent placement within the Source to Pay Supply Chain IT group. Systems Analysts (SAs) work on project teams with other SAs, Application Developers, Data analysts, Project Managers and project stakeholders. The projects may include the implementation of new capabilities and processes or enhancements to existing capabilities and processes. SAs must have strong communication and customer engagement skills. They understand and document the stakeholder's business processes/requirements to identify the business value associated with the project. SAs understand the system functionality to design improved business processes and transactions, make data quality improvements, and perform any required configuration changes to the system. They analyze, clarify, and translate business requirements into technical or process specifications and serve as liaison between the stakeholder and project team. Systems Analysts participate in the planning, coordinating, and conducting testing. SAs develop use cases, test cases, test scenarios, and/or prototypes and are heavily involved in testing and troubleshooting the application. An SA may be responsible for transition change management including preparing the organization for deployment. In this capacity, the SA may develop training materials and troubleshooting guides. They are often responsible for coordinating end user training, conducting train-the-trainer sessions, and in some cases delivering training. The SAs provide production support through stabilization and may support production escalation. An SA may work on project teams as a data quality advocate, providing subject matter expertise or leadership to ensure adherence to data architecture and data quality principles and methodologies. In some cases, SAs will own specific data deliverables and have responsibility for the health of the data within their scope of influence.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum Qualifications:- The candidate must possess a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. - The candidate must have legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship- 6+ months of experience working in advanced analytical and problem-solving situations.Preferred Qualifications:- 6+ months of experience working with Cloud solutions - 6+ months of experience working with SAP
