Non-Volatile Memory Component Architect 2017

Job Description
In this position the candidate will become a member of the NVM component architecture team with NSG.The candidatewill be responsible to define and develop Intel's next generation NVM component specifications with the understanding of the memory technology attributes and Intel platform requirements.The candidatewill build and deliver component models for functionality (BFM-Bus functional model), performance and power to enable various teams across Intel. The candidatewill be required to work with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to translate technology attributes, component design attributes and system requirements to component specifications and modeling. The candidatewill also be required to participate in exploring and enabling architectural path-finding solutions through building models ranging from an early stage behavioral model to a detailed model that comprehends interface protocols, functionality, implementation and architecture of the memory component.The candidatewill also be required to comprehend memory controller and system protocols to develop a comprehensive component model. As an architectthe candidatewill be required to also closely work with product development teams to ensure successful implementation of the product and also provide technical support to the teams through the entire product life cycle.


Qualifications

-The position requires a BS degree and 3 years' experience OR or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering -Minimum 3 months of experience in RTL: Verilog, System Verilog and Very High Level Design Language (VHDL) -Minimum 3 months of experience in Software: Perl/Python scripting, C/C++ programming -Minimum 3 months of experience/exposure to emulation/fpga models from Register Transfer Level (RTL) using internal and/or vendor tools. -Minimum 3 months of experience to develop/test C/C++/Verilog based transactor models. -Minimum 3 months of experience in with memory interface standards/protocols like JEDEC-DDR2/3/4
