PerC ASIC Design/Section Student

Job Description

Perceptual Computing (PerC) is an organization within Intel tasked with the research, development, and productization of technologies for Natural User Interaction, encompassing both human to machine and human to human experiences. PerC aims to build technologies that would help users to have natural, immersive and intuitive interaction with computers through not only touch interface but also through hand gestures, voice and video. The objective of PerC is to explore consumer-focused hardware and software applications of close-range hand and finger gestures, speech recognition, face recognition and tracking, augmented reality and more.We are looking for a motivated individual who will join PerC ASIC group designing the chips of the next Intel 3D camera (RealSense). The team is working on several ASIC's in parallel, in dynamic demanding environment. The student will be part of the design team, and will drive section activities for area power optimizations, higher quality and automation.


Qualifications

The successful student will:Be a student of Electrical Engineering, at least on the 3rd semesterBe available 20 hours/week Be proficient in written and spoken English
